Dance Plus is where she got her first opportunity to teach. She started as a teacher assistant and by age 16, she had her own class. She began teaching jazz, tap and ballet to students ages 3-5. Her first class had 20+ students! She was a member of her high school dance team and captain her senior year.
In 2008, she moved to California to pursue her dream of dance. She studied at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Theater. Upon graduating, she joined MKM Bollystars, learning Bollywood dance and other styles of Indian dance, was recently in the Cabrillo Music Theatre production of Memphis the Musical, and teaches dance to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at a middle school in the Los Angeles area. She loves teaching what she's learned over the years to people of all ages and is still growing and learning more herself each and every day!
